I will never cease to be amazed at the ‘simple wisdom’ that you hear from good leaders with tons of experiences who have succeeded and failed. All three were so good today but I have to go back and hear the ‘fire chief’ again. He had such good, business relevant points - including about risk management and crisis management and how superficial our understanding of those has been pre-COVID. Wow! I didn’t take it all in the time, perhaps because I wasn’t expecting to hear savvy business advice from a ‘fire chief’! Such an important lesson there about who we choose to listen to and why ... often at our peril.
